Episode Summary

What can we say. We took some liberties with this one. Say hello to some friends of the Fort Worth Roots Podcast. First up is our good friend and longtime supporter of the show Jeffery Lord. Jeff is the host of the local Fort Worth show, Funkytown Podcast. Find this excellent production on your favorite streaming service or online at: funkytownpodcast.podbean.com . Mr. Lord, thank you for always looking out for us! XOXO Joe Guzman is featured in the second segment of this masterpiece of an episode! Joe connected with us some months ago when he began promoting the Psychedelic Panther Festival. We immediately got him on the show and became friends even quicker. Joe is an incredible musician. He is the front man for the local Fort Worth band "Space Poets" and you can find their art on your favorite streaming service or on Instagram as "Spacepoetsofficial" Joe, watching you grow as a community organizer and master event planner has helped me develop my own crazy events! Thank you for the encouragement my friend. Richard Keller is the star of our third segment. He is the lead for the quickly rising band "Itchy Richie and the Burning Sensation". The music Mr. Keller and his band produce speaks for itself. However, his hard work and the dedication to his practice is not so much worn on his sleeve. Itchy Richie is on its way to becoming one of the most widely recognized Fort Worth bands in 2023. Don't miss out on this up-and-coming artist. Find Itchy online at : itchyrichie.com Richard, dude...nice pants. Last leg of this stupid long episode is the responsible party for this saga of a recording. Say hello to the reoccurring joke of the show, Cody Halford from Abilene Texas. He isn't in a band, and he has never written a book. He will never cure a disease or develop an algorithm that will make our lives easier. Honestly, we don't know what he is doing on the show. But we are glad we finally got a chance to record with him on the Fort Worth Roots Podcast. Cody is one of my closest friends and a fairly decent MMA coach. He still competes in local martial arts competitions on a kinda regular basis and is one hell of an alternator installation tech for Toyota Camry's. Cody Halford from Abilene Texas, thank you for being on the show. Thanks for not breaking my two favorite fingers. For whatever reason you've never stopped supporting me no matter how crazy I get.
